2024 was Esteban’s 7th full-time season in Formula 1. He ended the season with 23 points in the Drivers' World Championship Standings in what was a difficult year on track. There were a couple of highlights during the season, most notably Esteban's incredible drive in the wet in Sao Paulo which saw him finish P2 at the iconic Brazilian Grand Prix, marking Alpine F1 Team's best result of the year.
Haas F1 Team is Esteban's fourth Team in Formula 1, following stints at Manor, Racing Point, and Renault/Alpine. The 28-year-old has started 156 Grands Prix and accumulated 445 points during that time since making his Formula 1 debut as a teenager at the Belgian Grand Prix in 2016.
His best qualifying performance to date remains his superb 3rd place in Belgium in 2018, while his best race result is his stunning debut victory at the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix.
In 2025, Esteban partners British rookie Oliver Bearman and reunites with Ayao Komatsu, his first-ever F1 race engineer, now Team Principal at Haas F1 Team.
